About

RO System

Reverse Osmosis can be defined as a special kind of filtration process. Reverse osmosis blocks all kinds of hazardous chemicals and pollutants, including pesticides, ions, etc. and also leaches out the substances that are completely dissolved in water that other purification technologies cannot do.

Process Flow in a Reverse Osmosis System

  • Feed Water Intake: Raw water is drawn into the system.
  • Pre-Treatment: Water passes through sediment and carbon filters to remove larger particles and chlorine.
  • High-Pressure Pump: Pressurizes the water to force it through the RO membrane.
  • Membrane Filtration: Water is separated into permeate (purified water) and concentrate (contaminant-laden waste).
  • Post-Treatment: Purified water is polished and disinfected if necessary.
  • Storage: Treated water is stored in a tank for use.
  • Drainage: Concentrate is discharged through a drain line.
